Absolutely Perfect....

In every way! I sat down to post a few sneak peeks of brand new James, and I just got addicted to his amazing sweetness and perfect baby features... The first of many newborns to come, I was so excited to get a chance to photograph him, especially outside in the warm evening! Please click on the images to see them in their best resolution. Enjoy!

You just forget how preciously small and fragile they are in the first 2 weeks, the sweet smell and flaky skin, sweet little dots all over and bright pink skin that turns RED when they cry! Oh and that baby cry... like a little kitten.

What a natural model he was. I seriously could have photographed him all day! But we were all done in less than an hour... sniff sniff.. I hope I'll be seeing you again little one!

Omigosh, isn't he just delightful? Dang! I better stop or I may as well as post the whole gallery!! LOL! Thanks for stopping by!

Airforce

Is where this young man is heading to in the next few days! He with the impenetrable smile, even when I gave him permission not to. Good luck Cody, may you fly high!

This family had such amazing eyes, I love colored eyes, cause mine are so boring brown... but these seemed changed colors as we moved around. How cool is that! Thanks for an awesome evening. Hope you like your sneak previews!

Sacramento Parent Magazine August Issue!

This issue was one of the hardest session I've had to photograph. These two girls have Cerebal Palsy, and they are an inspiration to all of us. More so their mom's deserve and award for the patience, sacrifices and the constant giving they perform each and everyday. Read their heartwarming story in this month's issue of Sacramento Parent.

Unfortunately on the day of the photoshoot Cammille had four hours of dental surgery, so she was having a rough time staying awake.

We had to press ahead with the shoot because Olivia was heading into the hospital for spinal surgery.

The girls are so beautiful, they make me feel so small. Thanks for sharing your girls with me, it was so great to meet you all.

Brady & Ashley.... happily ever after!

This was another wedding that Blooms AND A Joyous Occasion commissioned me to photograph., and I can see why. It was just amazing, a true fairy tale wedding. I arrived on the scene too late for bride & groom portraits since they did them before the ceremony, but photographer Ingrid of Myrtle & Marjoram was SUPER sweet to allow me to photograph along side her and her assistant Michelle for the rest of the night. They were just so welcoming and I really had a wonderful time getting to know her since I had already stalked her blog for a year now, it was AWESOME to finally meet her. Ingrid is the first photographer I've met since I started getting into this business who still shoots in film, I can understand why, her pictures are beautiful, and she has the patience of a saint to wait a month to see her pictures!!

Anyways... enough of the gabb.. I know you JUST want to see the pictures, please click on the images for a better view.

A Special Day Out!

For the past few years, on Alannah's friend Kaede's birthday, her mom and I take the girls to celebrate at Six Flags Marine World just outside of San Francisco. Its become a bit of a tradition, and I usually don't bring my camera, because we can't leave it anywhere when we go on the rides, but I dug out my old POS and brought it along this year to get some snapshots, and I'm so glad I did.

The girls have been friends since preschool, and although they only see each other a few times are year, they just pick right up where they left off... that's true frienship. Last year they bought matching hats and this year they picked out matching shark mood necklaces. So cute!

After careful planning of rides and shows, the girls would set off, and five paces later get diverted onto a ride along the way! hahaha... it was so funny... they just couldn't decide what they wanted to do or where they wanted to go! We did manage to make some time for cotton candy, strawberry crepes and a stop in the butterfly sanctuary. Unfortunately, by that time, my battery ran out...

Unfortunately, they've outgrown photographing with the characters, this shot was just for the mommies and it is my favorite one of the day!

They grow up soooooo fast! Only 1 month apart, they turn 9 this year! WOW! We must plan something extra special for the big double digits next year!!

Here we are at the end of the day, we picked up some hot pink supergirl capes, and one for Avila too who didn't get to go...

My baby... i love her to bits! It was so fun to hang out with her, she's always been such great company. Its very rare that we get the opportunity to spend time just the two of us... so it was a really special treat!

We've been to marine world so many times, and every time we go, we see something we've never seen, and this time it was the Tiger Show, I've never seen tigers dive in the water... you think you may be safe jumping in the water to get away from them? Think again.

We also got to ride on the brand new ride the "Tony Hawk's Big Spin", and the verdict? Awesome! But the medusa is still my favorite ride.
